Thank you for this blog. As a school plochosygist, I thoroughly enjoy this site and find it very useful and informative. Question: this year I will be working with Preschool population, which I've never done before. I really like the DAS-II and am wondering if this is a good instrument for this age group- and especially for children with Autism? I read somewhere that the DAS is better for higher functioning ASD, but I believe that was for the original DAS. Is this also true for the DAS-II? What cognitive measure is common for this age group and for the ASD group? Thanks in advance!
