I fully understand RP's reasons for not running as a Third Party candidate and they make perfect sense. Third parties have the decked stacked against them by the other two. But RP is retiring from congress so why not go down fighting...? Besides,if RP doesn't get the nomination I will be voting Third Party, and I'd rather vote for him. I think if RP paired himself with a principled progressive such as Kucinich or Nader it could turn out to be an interesting thing....
