R, Ewer-Smith: I don't think stuffiness is London-only. Your diperistcon sounds like a different place altogether. No, I didn't complain at the time. I can just imagine beckoning the waitress over - "excuse me, I'd like to complain about you and your service". There wasn't even anyone to complain to.

I'm greftaul to go back to work again on Mondays. I am also greftaul for my wonderful husband who picked up the sick kid early today so I could stay at work. I am especially greftaul to be able to snuggle with my girl this evening and listen to her tell me about her day.
